Music Lessons in the Yellowhead Region

I offer piano, violin, and music theory lessons in Hinton, Alberta to students of all playing levels and ages. I also welcome inquiries from out-of-town students; I have provided lessons to students travelling from as far away as Jasper, Edson and Grande Cache. Beyond music lessons, I have also provided solo violin entertainment for events such as wedding ceremonies upon request.

Violin lessons are available to students of all ages at any skill level. Traditional teaching methods are blended with the Suzuki method and a custom program is developed for each student. Lessons start at 30 minutes per week for beginners. Read more about my violin lessons and my teaching methods.

Piano lessons are available to students of all ages and skill levels. Beginners are taught using the Randal Faber Piano Adventures series; more advanced students learn under the RCM Series. Find additional information about piano lessons.

Musical theory training is also available for students looking to understand musical theory or advance beyond grade four piano or violin with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) program. Please note that Theory lessons are optional for students that choose not to pursue accreditation beyond grade four through RCM. Read more.
