Music Lessons in the Yellowhead Region

I offer piano, violin, and musical theory lessons in Hinton, Alberta, to students of all playing levels and ages. I welcome inquiries from out-of-town students as over the years I have provided lessons to students travelling to Hinton from Jasper, Edson and Grande Cache.

I no longer offer soloist or ensemble entertainment for events, wedding ceremonies, etc.

Violin lessons are available to students of all ages at any skill level. Traditional teaching methods are blended with the Suzuki method and a custom program is developed for each student. Lessons start at 30 minutes per week for beginners. Read more about my violin lessons and my teaching methods.

Piano lessons are available to students of all ages and skill levels. Beginners are taught using the Randal Faber Piano Adventures series; more advanced students learn under the RCM Series. Find additional information about piano lessons.

Musical theory training is also available for students looking to understand musical theory or advance beyond grade four piano or violin with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) program. Please note that Musical Theory is optional for students that choose not to pursue accreditation beyond grade four through RCM. Read more.
